Reflexive Summary– What has blog brought me?
Introduction:
For me, I have spent a lot of time collecting information for blog editing throughout the year, which has brought me huge benefits. A lot of knowledge may be unpopular, but it is of great practical value and is easily ignored by people. These are all worth thinking about.
Thoughts:
A year ago, I might still understand urban design as blindly promoting development, constantly adding cutting-edge technology, opening up new horizons, etc. But after so many design projects, combined with some of the knowledge points I mentioned in my blog, urban design no longer appears as a narrow image in my mind. It is an extremely large and inclusive course. , countless details are worthy of our consideration.
For example, barrier-free access is a very common design in today’s society, and it has long become a necessity in design projects. However, could a simple accessible ramp solve all problems? The answer is of course no. First of all, barrier-free access should be as consistent as ordinary roads. It is not enough to have a barrier-free ramp at the entrance and exit. King’s Cross Station is a perfect example. No matter you take any mode of transportation to get to King’s Cross All stations can reach the platform smoothly. In addition, all venues have been paved with non-slip paving. Because there is a lot of rain in the UK, anti-skid paving is also necessary for people’s safety.
Experience:
In my design courses this semester, I encountered many difficult problems. Housing is a very complex issue because everything must be considered for a better life for residents. First of all, there are many types of buildings with different sizes. How to rationally use the open space between two buildings is very important. Designers must consider both green space area and neighborhood relationships. Sufficient parking space supply is also extremely critical, and sustainable development cannot be ignored. During discussions with my teacher, we came up with several options, all of which require reasonable adjustments based on the number of residents, spacing between buildings, surrounding greening, etc. Secondly, the terrain height difference is also a very interesting design point. Designers can use this natural height difference to make many creative and practical design solutions. There are many interesting design solutions worthy of our reference.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, Blog is a very interesting and practical way to gain knowledge. As authors, we will inadvertently read a lot of materials, which are closely related to design. It undoubtedly improves our knowledge in a subtle way, and also makes us realize some aspects that we have never considered, and even It’s about thinking from another perspective. As readers, we will read other people’s blogs with a grateful heart. We can learn a lot of new knowledge and new content in a short time and in an efficient way. This is undoubtedly a smart way of learning. , it is a kind of enjoyment for me every time I read other people’s blogs. Even after completing this semester, in my future working life, I will continue to use blogs to record some interesting knowledge and cases, and obtain new things and new ideas from other people’s blogs.
